Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you tee off.

How can I pay?

Pay by credit or debit card through PayPal’s secure checkout β€” with or without a PayPal account (just choose “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” as a guest). Prefer cash or check? Email golf@milledgevillepdga.gov or call the tournament desk at 478-414-4090, and we’ll set up your team and send a receipt.

How much does it cost, and what’s included?

Entry is by full 4-person team at $400; sponsorships start at $250. Your entry includes golf fees, lunch, and prizes.

Can I register without a full team?

Not this year — entry is by full 4-person team, and individual player registration is closed. If you’re short a player or two, email golf@milledgevillepdga.gov or call 478-414-4090 and we’ll do our best to connect you with others looking for a team.

What’s the format, and when does it start?

A 4-person scramble with a shotgun start at 10:00 AM on October 5, 2026 at The Club at Lake Sinclair.

Are registration fees refundable?

All registration fees are non-refundable after September 30, 2026.

I’m a team captain β€” how do I enter scores?

On game day you’ll receive an access code at check-in. Enter your team’s scores at golf.friendsofmpdlef.com/team β€” it unlocks score entry for your team only.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All card and payment details are entered directly with PayPal in their own secure window β€” this site never sees or stores them.

Where does the money go?

Proceeds benefit the Milledgeville Police Department through the Friends of Milledgeville Police Foundation, Inc. β€” funding equipment, training, community programs, and family support beyond the department’s regular budget.
